So many great memories from my childhood with Uncle Ed.   Uncle Ed always brought cheer and laughter  to holiday gatherings, golfing, and fishing on the boat.  I will never forget his laugh.  Honestly, the funniest laugh I have ever heard.   Hearing him laugh from across a room and not knowing what he was laughing about, made me laugh.   My condolences for your loss.  Rest in Peace Uncle Ed.
I feel fortunate to have met and to know Ed Smith.   Ed was a very special person to this world, shared a smile and made you feel comfortable from the minute meeting Ed and every time afterwards.   Ed and his kind nature will be missed by many.    Our sympathy to Cass and the Smith family.

Cass, I remember all the family Thanksgiving dinners we had. Such good times!

If you’re having a celebration of life please let me know, we would love to come.

I met  Ed9 years ago at BJMGA. Ed and I became instant friends. We immediately became good friends. We loved playing golf togethether and somehow won many tournaments. Ed and I went to dinners together with our wives and Ed was so special. His wife Cass is a lovely person and they deserved each other.

Ed is one of the nicest men I have ever had the opportunity to be friends with. We called ourselves brothers on a routine basis. Ed had great humor and was always ready for a good laugh and sharing a great story. I thank God that I had the opportunity to become a good friend of his.

I just want to say we had so many good times and loved each other. I am so happy he was blessed with Cass and a special family.

So sorry about U. Ed . What a wonderful person he was I will miss his laughter. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Sending hugs and love. Deb, Lou, Genna & Nicholas
