I could use a big bear hug right about now!  Missing you Ed.
What a fantastic human being Ed was; even as simply just a colleague from a partner organization I had the pleasure of being infected by Ed's positivity and curious mind. I will be forever grateful to have known him and I am sure his community will carry his legacy on.
I was deeply saddened to hear about your loss. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Ed was a remarkable person, and his memory will live on in our hearts. During this difficult time, my thoughts are with you and your family. If there's anything I can do to offer support or comfort, please don't hesitate to reach out. Wishing you strength and peace in the days ahead.

I’m at a loss for words. I’m so sorry to hear about Ed’s passing.  I have lots of good memories of Ed and Lisa and this is heartbreaking news. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Unbelievable news. Ed was my SE when we were at Symantec and such a wonderful, smart fun human. What a loss for the world. Godspeed old friend.

Somewhere in Ed’s closet is a grey Symantec Knights hoodie. Ed didn’t get the chance to grab one at a conference and I snagged one for him and carried that thing around for months until our paths crossed again. He was totally surprised when I gave it to him. I wanted to bless him with it because he was always a blessing to me and wonderful to work with.

Be at peace my friend.  You made a wonderful impact here. Condolences to your family who I was never able to meet.

I unfortunately only knew Ed a short time in calendar time, only 6 too short months. I like many others, was recommended to CSS and Ed specifically, by peers in the industry, with such great things to say about him before I ever met him. Of course, when I talked to him the first time, I could feel the passion, the conviction, the honesty, the disarming appeal of his nature. He spoke with great knowledge on many topics and immediately instilled confidence and desire to join him and his mission of providing a very critical solution in a humble, honest hard working way. It is obvious of the impact he had on everyone that touched his path, he was called to a greater mission to spread that humility and humanity to others. I know these are dark moments as we grabble with this sudden loss, but I know the impact he has had on his family and work family will drive us all to honor his legacy. He packed so much into his short life, for that we are all grateful.

My deepest condolences to Lisa and family for your incredible loss. Ed was a wonderful, funny, encouraging, supportive and passionate boss. He is greatly missed and his energy continues fuels our entire team, as it always will. Thinking of you all.

I met Ed this year in early July during an interview to work at CSS. The recruiter I was working with had to sell me hard to meet with him and I finally agreed. I talked to Ed for 30 minutes and he had me convinced that CSS would be a great place to be. He was so confident, so easy to talk to, and so articulate with his vision of CSS! In two short months I learned a lot from him... and I though I already knew it all! HA!

Last week Ed and I were planning a trip to Toronto to visit a customer. I was so fired up to meet and work with him in person. I'm so sad I didn't get that chance. It sounds a little crazy, but I knew Ed for only 60 days and I miss him dearly. RIP my friend.

Constantly with good energy and good humor, always available to help in the simplest and most complex. Without a doubt, a leader who will be missed and always remember

Charismatic, patient, funny, smart, trustworthy and so much more. Ed certainly was one of a kind and the world is better to have had him in it. If it’s true that we are the average of the people we spend time with, I’m so grateful to have spent as much of my time at Cloud Storage Security with Ed over the past 2 and a half years as I did. He is and will be missed.
Ed and I worked closely at Symantec. Ed was a genuine and caring person. I will cherish his friendship forever. My heartfelt condolences to Lisa and kids.
Cannot believe this news. Devastated to hear it. He was a super friendly guy and always willing to listen and help others.Rest in peace my friend, I will miss you.

I found this great picture of Ed and Lisa at our wedding. Such supportive and loving friends!

So lucky to have known Ed and called him a good friend.  He was truly one of the most optimistic, genuine, and caring individuals I've had the good fortune to be around.  Ed was a colossal personality and a wonderful soul.

Stacey and I miss him dearly, and we hold Lisa and the entire family in our prayers.

I knew Ed as a friendly, sweet dad. He saw his boys off to school, often with chocolate, protein waffles - with a secret ingredient or two.

There is immeasurable love for your family!

So sad to hear of Ed’s passing, my sincere condolences to Lisa, Edison & Frankie.

Your husband & father was a gentleman & scholar, I feel honoured to have known such a great man and he will be sorely missed throughout the world!

Rest easy Mr Casmer
