We regret to announce the passing of Edward Smith, 59, of Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA, on March 13, 2023. Carl is preceded in death by his father Irving T. Smith. Carl is survived by his mother, Shirley, and his siblings: Vanessa Morris (Clifton), Sharon Johnson (Randy Sr.), Pauletta Delgado (Ed), Irving Smith, and Theodore Smith (Teresa.) Carl is also survived by a large family including his Aunt Elizabeth Parker, his Uncle Edward Carl Cain (Carl's namesake), and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and descendants from the Francis family.
