Denny and I will always remember Lanny as friendly, kind , and humble.  Denny  was delivered as a baby by Lanny’s dad ( Dr Aiken) and always appreciated his volunteer work as the Dr for the football team.  Lanny came from a wonderful family and He continued the family goodness

1963, Palm Springs, CA, USA
Fondly remembering Don, Lanny and  I playing rock music together in their home when I lived in the Araby Cove. Lanny played saxophone. Don taught me how to play chords on the piano. As a teenager it was a great way to hang out and spend time together. Lanny was a talented, gentle soul.

I have no specific story about Lanny, except that he used to show up to visit with my mom, Sylvia, Salk, and he would sit at the kitchen table and they would talk about everything under the sun.  He was a very special man.  My heart goes out to his sons, who were his everything.
