Dear Stumpfoll Family,
It is with deep sadness that I recently heard of your loss. Ed was a close friend of mine growing up in Prospect Heights. We walked to high school together and went to his parent home for lunch nearly every day. After school we played with motorcycles, 4 wheeled in his jeep (got stuck a lot) and tried to stay out of trouble. I have so many great memories of him that keep bringing a smile to my face. He would do anything for people and got me a job at his father’s shop during one summer. We traveled downtown a few times per week in his Mom’s red Ford LTD. Rich and Joe will remember it well. I am sorry for the delay and I hope this will bring a smile to your face. Continue to be strong and push forward as he would have wanted. God Bless! Steve Kennedy

All of us at the beach when w…
Florida, USA
All of us at the beach when we went on our family vacation at Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. Everyday at the beach dad had a cooler full of water and ice, lots of sunscreen, and an umbrella and chair. Occasionally he would come out in the waves with us and hold onto my moms floaty that she was sitting on. He got horrible sunburn on this trip. This was the only time I ever saw him wear shorts out of the entire year. Love you dad, you are so goofy
I remember one time when I was about 4 years old, I found a penny on the ground somewhere. I bragged to my whole family about it, including Uncle Ed, who was visiting grandma at the time. I remember when I told Uncle Ed about the penny, he made a coin bank with his fist and told me to put the penny in the bank. He coughed into his fist, opened up his hand, and to my surprise, there were a whole bunch of coins that I then got to keep along with my original penny. I have thought of his little "magic trick" my whole life every time I have found coins on the ground. It is one of my earliest memories of him.

I will always remember Uncle Ed as a loving and silly family member who could brighten up a room with his goofiness.

Er wird sehr vermisst werden
