Dear Aunty Edris,

You have been in my life since I was born, and looked after me like I was your own. I will always remember your kindness, your gentle voice, and your laughter . You had a way of making everyone feel cared for, and valued. It is truly sad to know that you’re no longer here with us.

To my dearest Sheena, Sebastian, Shawn, Junior, Cheareen, and Ron, my deepest condolences to you all. Your mother, my beloved cousin Edris, was truly a blessing to every one of us. She was a gentle soul with a quiet, graceful spirit that touched so many lives.

Edris was not only a loving and devoted mother, but also a wise and caring advisor, someone who always seemed to know just what others needed. Her kindness and selflessness were unmatched; she consistently put others before herself, giving freely of her time, her heart, and her love.

To me, she was more than a cousin, she was a dear friend, someone who always made time for me no matter the distance between us. I will forever cherish the memories we shared, our long talks, our laughter, and the joy of simply catching up about family and life.

We shared a special bond that will live on through you, her beautiful children, and the love she has left behind in each of our hearts.

My condolences to the Jones Family. I grew up around Auntie Edris since the age of 4. Her Beautiful children are my God Brothers and Sisters. Auntie Edris and my mom Thora B. Remy were dear friends. For as long as I can remember Auntie Edris was always there for my family & I.   A gentle soul who was patient,  loving and kind. Whether it was a  family celebration or a shoulder to lean on in hard times,  Auntie Edris,  was always there.  My heart goes out to my God Family:  Sheena, Cheareen, Jeffrey Jr, Sebastian, Ron and Lil Bro Shawn. My heart is with you all. Lifting you up in love. I pray that God covers you with Strength, Grace and his perfected Peace during this time of grief beyond all understanding. As I reflect on the life of God Mom there are so many priceless memories that flood my mind. We were blessed to have had her in our lives. 

Family, I am always here for you when ever you need me. Know that though our loved ones depart from us in the flesh the love, the joy and the nurturing lives on in us.
