Edner's obituary
Edner is a former delegate of west Haiti and has a Bachelor Business Administration and Management.
Pappie was honorable, he was kind, he was compassionate, he was sweet, charismatic, he was caring, he was gentle, he was intelligent, and was so loving and giving. He cared with a passion unlike anything that I have ever seen for his children.
I knew Pappie was a Great Man, but I did not realize how much of an impact he had on everyone he encountered. Since Pappie’s passing this quote from Maya Angelou makes complete since to me “ I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." I heard stories after stories of his acts of kindness towards his family and friends. I saw posts after posts from his family, friends, and church members of how much they genuinely cared and loved my father. We received calls after calls of condolences from his extended family, friends and former associates of Pappie. It brought joy to our heart to see how much Pappie was really loved.
Pappie we love you and will forever be my hero. God loves you and has called you home. I will see you again someday. Thank you for loving us.
Edner is survived by 3 children: Widner Delva, Vanessa Delva Pierre (David Pierre), James Delva (Wilkinsa Delva) and 5 grandchildren.
A private funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM on April 21, 2020 at Pinelawn Memorial Park and Arboretum 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmington, NY 11735
