Edith Naomi Schmitt, 77, of Hesperia, CA, passed away peacefully at home with family beside her on November 11, 2022. She was loved by so many family members and friends. We are grateful to have known her. 

Edie is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edward, who passed on May 12, 2022, and is survived by three daughters; Nicole Schmitt Barnard, Beverly Wallace and her husband Ryan, and Renee Williams.

She was adored and beloved by her grandchildren; Steven Barnard and his wife Misty, and their boys Haiden and Michael; Christopher Barnard and his daughter Delayna Gaynelle (DG); Courtney Medrano and her husband Noel and their daughter Nayeli Anne, Keaton Paul Rojas; Zachary Williams and Sy Williams and his son Mason Edward.

Edie was born on September 1, 1945 to Marie Endrizzi Murdock. She is survived by her sisters; Joanie Blackburn, Mary Hardekopf, and Rosie Medauer. She is from a large family with many nieces and nephews that she cherished and adored. Spending quality time with her family was so important to her, and just to sit outside and be near her was enough to bring joy to anyone who had the opportunity to have this experience. 

Edie owned her own business in town and ran her hair salons, Carousel of Beauty and Shear Images, for many years in Hesperia. She enjoyed playing golf with Ed and was a member at both Apple Valley and Hesperia Golf and Country Clubs over the years.

There will be a memorial service to honor both of our parent’s passings on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00 located at Hesperia Golf and Country Club.
