I only knew Edith for 4 years but she had a huge impact on me. I feel blessed and lucky that she was in my life, I learned a lot from her. I feel that we were kindred spirits and destined to be friends. We enjoyed just laughing, having coffee, people watching with comments of course :) I miss her every day. <3

Sincere condolences to family & friends. I just learned of your passing😪😪I loved the time Edith and I spent together, I enjoyed so much spending time with her and her sharing her life stories & experiences with me. Edith was a great listener and she helped me more than she probably knew. I'm glad we stayed in touch after we moved out of state and I'm so happy I was able to visit you when I was in NJ. Rest in Paradise. Until we meet again 🙏

Dearest Eadie - You were so much a part of my life. From my earliest memories, you were my mom's dear friend. You were a mentor, a confidante, a friend to me. You were there when I came to visit with my girls and you were with us when my dad took his last breath. You were an inspiration and you always shared our love. You are so missed. Until we meet again......

I started as a companion/aide to Edith about 6 years ago and found in her one of the best friends I ever had. She was amazing, funny, smart, and she regaled me with stories of her life as a young girl living in NYC. There wasn't a time that we weren't laughing about something. We fell into the routine of running errands and always stopping for coffee somewhere and people-watching...with comments of course.
I will miss her but I feel honored to have known her—even if she didn’t tell me for years that she preferred to go by Edie. To me, she’ll always be my friend Edith.
My condolences to her family and friends. Rest in peace beautiful Edith.
