Edith Vieira Furtado, 72, of Haymarket VA, passed away on 6 September 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born to her father Simonides Jose Vieira and mother Nair da Silva Vieira, on 11 September 1948, in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. She married her High School sweetheart Gerson Ribeiro Furtado in 1970 and had three children. She and Gerson left Brazil in 1989 to serve in ministry in the United States. Edith and …
