Eddie's obituary
Eddie graduated from East Union High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon returning to French Camp, he studied automotive technology at San Joaquin Delta College. He found auto mechanics and truck driving to be gratifying work until his declining health prevented him from pursuing it any longer. Eddie loved to draw and was an avid reader of western novels. He had a magnetic personality, contagious smile, and a gift for storytelling. He was a gifted guitar player and he passed on to his children his love of music, especially Creedence Clearwater Revival and Bob Seger. His children also recall his fondness for movies starring Bruce Lee, Elvis Presley, and John Wayne.
Eddie is now at peace and we will always cherish the good memories and times that we spent together. He was a beautiful, adventurous and free-spirited soul. Eddie had a big heart and was deeply loved by his family and friends. The family will hold a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
