Eddie's obituary
We sadly announce the passing of Eddie Scott, best known as Ed to his friends and loved ones, who left us on February 5, 2025. Born on May 1, 1950, Eddie left an indelible mark on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The torch is now carried by his beloved children, Elena Scott and Eddie Scott, and his cherished grandson, Phillip Toliver Jr. He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Ida Scott, whom he often credited as one of his greatest achievements. Eddie would often say the best day of his life was the day when he made Ida his wife. His greatest legacy was his unwavering loyalty and the principle that family always comes first.
Eddie was a man with simple pleasures. He loved fish and was famously fond of Mad Dog 20/20. He was a passionate supporter of the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed playing Spades with his friends and family. He enjoyed walking, a practice he fondly referred to as 'Walking Showee' as his preferred way to exercise.
His ideal getaway was the vibrant city of Las Vegas. He had an affinity for the color blue, which perfectly reflected his personality – direct, funny, and playful. Eddie was a character, one that brought a sparkle of joy into every room he entered.
His laughter, love, and life lessons will continue to resonate with us. Eddie's memory and legacy of loyalty will serve as a beacon to guide us through life's ups and downs. While he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit lives on in the stories we share, the lessons we remember, and the love we continue to hold for him.
