Not a story, but some facts....

Ed could tell you exactly how the body works- what food or drink you need for any ailment. He knew this with the kids too.

Ed was very much a protector and a fixer. If it was broken he could and would fix it- hell sometimes he was fixing stuff that wasn't broken! Iykyk!

Ed put up with my loud mouth that never stops yapping and accepted me even when I annoyed him- true story.

He taught me about knowing when to walk away and to know my worth as a person. Ed loved everyone but he would stick up for what was right even if someone he loved was in the wrong.

I remember a story Ed told me a long time ago about a certain snake, he was telling me to stay away from the blue racers snakes because those ones are fast and will chase you and he remembers his sister Susan being chased around the house by one. He thought it was the funniest.

He shared a lot of memories he had with his family between having to take care of the farm animals before school in the barn, the funny interactions he had with his customers which a lot of customers turned into family through the years,

18 years is a lot of life to remember and share every detail but i promise when I remember something I’ll post it here and we would love to hear from other friends and family about their memories!

With his birthday coming up I had a small story;

His birthday was always the day I would get out of school for the summer, so I would always joke and say it was a birthday present to him 😂
