I still think about her laughs, when she would compliment me and the kids and how I would be able to have everyone look nice.....Oh how I miss you so dearly Eddie.... you lifted me up so many times. I thank God for the friends that she imparted wisdom to that continue to impart wisdom in to me.

My deepest sympathies to Mrs. Eddie’s family! May father God strengthen you, give you peace and heal you in his infinite graces. I feel so blessed to have met Mrs. Eddie when I interned at SLPCC in 2019. What an exceptional woman! I will never forget her.

My friend, my confidante, my sister, my counselor, my role model. A treasured soul and Kindred Spirit. A woman of God. Our 9 years of friendship have left a permanent mark on my heart. You're an Inspiration, my friend. I shall never forget you and the impact you had on my ENTIRE family. God speed!!

I never met Miss Eddie’s family, but I wanted to let you know that I’ve been praying for you during this difficult time. Eddie was such a wonderful person and I feel so privileged to have been able to know her for the past 8 years. I know that even as we mourn her loss here on earth, that Heaven is rejoicing at having her home!

My sincere condolences to all the family I worked with Eddie at SouthLake Pregnancy Care Center from October 2010-February 2017 as a RN/ counselor for the pregnant women who came to the center. Eddie was a wonderful person/boss and very kind and loving to all. I shall truly miss her as we met every year on or near my birthday for lunch together. It was so special to me and she was a big help to me when my husband died in 2018. She and I shared our love for Native American culture. She was filled with the spirit of love and giving!!! I know she is happy to be with the Lord now and forever.

I started volunteering at the South Lake Pregnancy Center in 2020 and I met Ms. Eddie right away. She was such a positive and kind person. I loved getting to know her and watching her passion for saving the unborn. I remember I had the ladies over for lunch one afternoon and we had such a lovely time laughing, talking and sharing. I am forever changed from my relationship with Ms. Eddie. I just wished I had met her sooner. The memory that most stands out is when an "abortion-minded" young lady would come into the center, Ms. Eddie would literally stay up all night, praying and praying for the mother and unborn baby. It was her life's work! Her family must go on without her, and I know how difficult that will be, but know one thing, Ms. Eddie is in Heaven, dancing and singing.....and holding babies!

Ms. Eddie was something special as we all knew! You are lucky/blessed to come across a person like her in your life time! A true Christ like person. She had such a giving heart and unlike so many people acted on her giving! Her life was dedicated to making others better! All she had to do was give you that smirk and a wink and you knew it was going to be alright!!! We will miss you, but I know we'll see you again one day!!!

If angel wings come in different sizes that's what Eddie's look like in heaven.

My prayers and love go out to Eddie's family. She was like a spiritual mama to me for the past three years at Southlake pregnancy center. She talked me into my senses many things times, she got me to the point of sharing my testimony boldly and the countless times of wisdom she shared. I loved her knowledge and experience. I dearly miss her saying "Love ya girly". She held all my babies and blessed us with so much spiritually. The last conversation we had, I told her I was amazed at the love that she had for all us women and that I've never left empty from a chat with the ladies at SLPCC and her! I am so grateful that she reached out to me when I first found out I was having twins, there's just so much advice, love and care she's invested in us, as well as everyone's lives that she has touched. I know Jesus smiled when He saw her! ❤️

That I was loved by her, by God, and so many people and that was everything to me. I also learned what selfless confidence looks like from her. I've never seen someone so self sacrificing yet so well taken care of by the Lord that she made it look easy. Joy was what she looked like. Joy.
In response to "What did you learn from Eddie?"
