Mr Halverson was born on January 13th 1940 in Saint Paul , MN to Earl C & Mildred M Halverson .
Erling (Hal) was employed in the trucking industry for 39 years and in the Army Reserves for 27 years .
After retiring in 2000 he became active in the Douglas Ridge Riffle Club becoming a two term president .
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Rebecca . One son , John and his wife Laura . Two grandsons James and Jake of Vancouver WA. Brother Warren , his wife Maryann and their two daughters Kelly Bach and Suzanne Meston of Bellevue WA .
