Earlene Lehuanani Josiah (Young)
December 2, 1961 – May 4, 2025

Earlene Lehuanani Josiah, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on May 4, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Honolulu, she served her community for over 30 years as a Youth Corrections Officer, touching many lives with her strength, compassion, and unwavering faith.

She loved God, hula, and cooking for her ‘ohana. Known for her tough but kind heart, Earlene was always ready to help anyone in need.

She is survived by her husband Adam Josiah; children Cory, Keonaona, Dayna, Dane, and Kamalani Salis; and grandchildren Kayden, Zayshen, and Teysia; siblings James Kimo Young, Roxann Rogers, Waynelynn Kaeo-Kaleiohi, Shelly Lee, & Sheldon Kaeo; and many friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 12 at 3:30 p.m. at Waimānalo Queen Lili‘uokalani Trust Hālau.
