Dad I miss u so much. It has been a rough eight months without u in my life dad. Now who will help me when I need advice or just an laugh.
I remembered Dad when u use to do Yogi and Booboo voices just to cheer me up. I am so sorry dad for being mouthy towards u and smart towards u when I was growing up.
Its not the same no more now that u are gone. It seems like just yesterday u told me u love me and now you vanish in thin air

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Earl Hopkins. My condolences to his family and friends. Mr. Hopkins was a very nice man and I know he will be missed by many as he touched everyone’s life he came in contact with. Rest In Peace Mr. Hopkins. I know you are with Jesus.

I'm so sorry for all of your loss. I was very pleased when your dad reached out to me, wanting to get to know us better. I felt very blessed to have been able to at least talk with him on the phone, along with Aunt Lucille. Rest in Peace Cousin Earl. My Love and Prayers are with all of you❤

One of dads favorite stories to tell was from a memory he shared with his mom during childhood. They was singing at his church and asking if anyone else would like to come up and sing. Dad volunteered and was called up to sing.

"Who's the leader of the club
That's made for you and me
M-I-C-K-E-Y".
He pauses and yells out to his mom.
"Mom how does the rest go".

Grandma was embarrassed but shared a lifetime of laughter as they both told the story over and over again through the years....
