Butch's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Earl "Butch" Dixon on September 30, 2023. Born on January 29, 1958, Butch lived a full and vibrant life admired by all those whose lives he touched.
Butch was a devoted family man above anything else. His wife, Jodi Dixon, was the love of his life. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with shared smiles, laughter, and unforgettable family moments. He was a beacon of strength and love to his children, Earl (Cliff) Dixon III, Erica Gallinat, Heather Anderson, and Kelly Dixon, each of whom he treasured immensely. His adoration extended to the next generation, taking great pride in his role as grandfather to Olivia and Zander Gallinat, Cameron Frappier, Madelyn, James and Patrick Anderson, and Jabari Collins.
Additionally, he is survived by his father, Earl (Cliff) Dixon Sr. who always held a special place in his heart. Butch was the beloved brother of Ruth Dixon, Jane Aydemir, Joyce Rozek, Robert Dixon, and Helen Fulvi. Their bond was unwavering and timeless, rooted in shared memories. Butch was pre-deceased by his mother, Joyce Bates Dixon.
Those who were fortunate enough to know Butch will remember him as the life of the party. His "moves like Jagger" and his crazy party hats will never be forgotten.
As we mourn the loss of this exceptional man, we also remember and celebrate his life. His legacy of love, dedication, and joyful spirit will continue to thrive through the lives of those he left behind. Butch's memory will forever be etched in our hearts and minds, leaving a mark of love and warmth that will never fade.
