I met Corbie when he was just a young boy, back when I first met his sister who I’d marry. He was part of my life from the very beginning, and when he later came to live with us, he became so much more than a brother-in-law. He was family in every sense of the word.
He brought laughter, energy, and a kind of easygoing spirit that made our home feel fuller. We grew up together in a way, shared life’s ups and downs, and built memories that will always stay with me. He was loved—by all of us—and his loss leaves a hole that can’t really be filled.
He’ll always be part of our story, and we’ll miss him deeply.
