Dylan's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our son, Dylan Clay Stubblefield—who was born on October 18, 1998—died on October 27, 2024 at his home in Richlands, North Carolina.
Dylan is warmly remembered by his loving parents, Crystal Stubblefield-Behrend (Hometown of Stigler, Ok) and Kelly Lovell (Kinta, OK), and his precious daughter, Bobbi Rene' Stubblefield. His sudden loss is deeply felt by his loving sisters Maddison Lovell, Montana Lovell, and Jolie Behrend.
Dylan excelled in highly structured settings from early years. He attended a 14 week military training camp at 14, then at 16 completed his Junior year at Thunderbird Military Academy. A common joke with family was that Dylan negotiated his way to a diploma at Mustang High School in May of 2017. He further distinguished himself by joining the United States Marine Corp in Jan 2019. A proud Machine Gunner, Dylan considered being a US Marine among his proudest accomplishments. One of the highlights of his life was the birth of his daughter on February 11, 2022.
He was often known to friends and family as a human encyclopedia, an ardent lover of knowledge, creativity, and imagination. He favorite things were hunting and fishing, and of course the online gaming. His extremely competitive nature kept him striving to be the toughest, and with the biggest stories of the biggest fish. His ability to captivate an audience was second to none. Your stories will forever be remembered and you will be forever in our hearts. Please post pictures and tell stories on this Legacy Memorial Page. His daughter, Bobbi, will learn about her Dad in the curious years ahead, reading from your stories and pictures shared here.
