Dylan Christopher Forquer and I had the kind of relationship that felt easy, natural, and full of love. He wasn’t just my son—he was one of my favorite people to be around. We could talk about anything, laugh about the smallest things, and just enjoy being together. There was a closeness between us that felt special and real, the kind where you just understand each other without having to explain much. Dylan had such a warm heart, and he made my life brighter simply by being in it. Being his mom was one of the greatest joys of my life, and the love we shared will always be a part of me.
Dylan Christopher Forquer was someone who carried a quiet kind of magic about him. He had a deep love for the simple, meaningful things in life—the mountains, music, animals, and peaceful places that made the world feel bigger and calmer at the same time. He was thoughtful, intelligent, and gentle, the kind of person who noticed the small details others might miss. Dylan had a curious mind and a kind heart, which showed in the way he pursued learning, graduating from college and working at the library where knowledge and calm spaces mattered. He loved deeply, whether it was his cat Cheddar, the beauty of the Beartooth Mountains, or the people lucky enough to know him. What made Dylan truly special was the warmth he brought to the world and the way his presence made ordinary moments feel meaningful. His spirit continues to live on in the places he loved and in the hearts of those who carry his memory every day.
