Dylan's obituary

Our beloved Dylan passed away tragically  on February 15, 2023 while on a family vacation in Mexico. He was only 13 years old.

Born to Kert and Kelly, January 10th, 2010 - the first grandchild on both sides, Dylan was a bright light in our lives from the very beginning! Our family did not expect to endure this terrible loss and could never have imagined his life being cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Dylan forever. He was the sweetest, coolest, most fun-loving soul, and a true joy just to have around.  Dylan and his family moved to Bridgewater NS in 2021 and his impact on his new community (in such a short time) is an amazing testament to his lovable, kind, personality. He excelled at basketball, and was widely regarded by his peers and adults for his ability to make anyone laugh. Dylan's death is such a profound loss, but we will strive forever to keep his memory alive.

He will be forever missed.

Dylan is survived by his parents Kert and Kelly, his best friend and brother Logan, his Nana Dale O'Brien and Freddy, his Papa Gerald Chaput and Paola, his Uncle Sauce and Aunt Amanda Chaput, and Uncle John Mclean and Katie-Lee; as well as his younger cousins Cole, Kyla and Karley. Dylan is predeceased by his Grandma Janet Chaput and GG Lillian O’Brien.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support they have received from all of their friends in family in both Nova Scotia and Ontario.
