It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Dwayne Holden, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Dwayne was born on August 14th, 1961 and sadly departed from this world on November 13th, 2024. His larger-than-life personality and his loving nature made him a beacon of light in the lives of everyone he knew.
Dwayne was often best described as funny, welcoming, charismatic and spontaneous. His infectious laughter and welcoming spirit could lighten up any room, and his spontaneous nature often led to wonderful memories and adventures. Despite his departure, his spirit will live on in the memories of those lucky enough to have known him.
He is survived by his doting daughters, La’Keisha, Crystal and Sheila Holden. Each will remember him as an irreplaceable figure in their life, and the love he had for them will forever be etched in their hearts.
Dwayne was also a beloved grandfather. His grandsons, Quinton Jubilee, Darius Coit Jr, Amarie Coit, and Samaj Tab as well as his granddaughters, Samyah Coit, Sydney Jubilee, Hannah Jubilee, and Sanai Holden will each cherish the unique bond they shared with their grandfather. He was also a great grandfather to Izhar Frisby, an honor he achieved on July 14, 2023. His legacy will continue to thrive through all his descendants.
Additionally, Dwayne leaves behind his siblings, Pamela, Lenoris, Clifton, and Sonya Holden. Despite life's ups and downs, they remained a strong unit, and they will forever honor the memory of their brother.
Dwayne's memory will also be cherished by his ex-wife, Lillian Hansford. Regardless of their history, they shared a profound love and have been blessed with a beautiful family.
In this time of grief, we remember Dwayne not for his departure, but for the life that he lived, the love that he gave, and the joy that he brought into our lives.
