Dwayne Cristen Hillis son and brother passed away at the age of 53. He was born on August 28, 1970 to Michael A and Suzanne Hillis. He is survived by his mother Suzanne, sisters D’ette and Jamie, brother Shawn and numerous nieces and nephews. Dwayne was preceded in death by his father Michael A and brother Michael D. Hillis, as well as his Aunt Sandra Blowitz.   

On April 26, 2023 Dwayne repented of his sins and asked Jesus to be the Savior of his soul and the Lord of his life. Dwayne became a new creation and the old lifestyle did not control his life. He voluntarily lived with his friends on the streets of Los Angeles to tell them of God’s love and forgiveness. He kept a Christian coin in his pocket, “Pray Always.” It reminded him of his commitment to Jesus and where he found strength and comfort.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday October 28, 2023 at 1pm. It will be held at Faith Community Church located at 3910 10th Street West, Palmdale, Ca 93551.
