Duane's obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Duane Perry, a kind and humble soul but also spoke his mind. He left us on March 27, 2025. Duane was born on June 22, 1959, and throughout his lifetime, he touched many lives with his simplicity, quietness, commitment, and loyalty.
Duane was a man who firmly believed in doing things the right way and often expressed that the best route to success is through sincerity and dedication. His memory will live on in the lessons he left behind, advice that has shaped the lives of those who knew him.
In his life, Duane was many things: a loving son, a devoted husband, a nurturing father, and a faithful Christian. His greatest achievements rested not in material possessions, but in the deep and meaningful relationships he built. His loving wife, Pamela Perry, survives him, their bond a testament to his commitment and love.
Duane was a lifetime lover of nature, hunting, camping and fishing. His joy in these simple pleasures was unadulterated and pure, much like Duane himself. He was a cabinet maker. His longest company that he enjoyed was Style Line. He was a proud father to Scott and Julia, whose successes and happiness were his proudest accomplishments. His daughter in law Chantel and his sparkle in his eyes, Charlie and Clayton, his grandsons. His mother, Edith Perry, and siblings Bonnie, Lavern, and Gail. In-laws, Steve, Karla, Sandy, Bob and multiple nieces and nephews, and cousins also survive him, carrying his memory forward.
A Celebration of Life for Duane will be held on May 10, 2025, 12:30pm to 4:30pm at Sussex Bowl. The celebration will follow a Funeral Service at the Peace Lutheran Church & Academy on May 10, 2025, at 11:00am. In these spaces, we will remember Duane not in his passing, but in the life he led, the love he shared, and the lessons he taught us.
As we mourn the loss of Duane Perry, let us also celebrate the life he lived and the impact he made. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, commitment, and simplicity will forever inspire us.
