Looking through old photos at our INA events. I see Drigg’s and Patty’s kids in the swimming pool playing with our kids over and over. Then I see Driggs  giving the Sunday morning worship service.

We hope you are doing as well as you can Patty. You all are a family tremendously missed. All of our love to you, Rick and Carolyn Lawson.

I was overwhelmed with grief when I heard the news of Driggs's passing. He was such a given man who would always do anything to help you out or stop to just talk for a while.  I will always see his face every time I step in the halls at CHS. Rest In Peace my friend! You have touched so my lives with your loving heart.

My earliest memory of Driggs is watching him and Mom talk and talk and talk some more. 😊  This was even before he was our Pastor in my later high school years.  But, our family history reaches further back than that.  My Mother was his babysitter!  I’m pretty sure she wasn’t far behind Jesus and the Jessup family exuberantly welcoming Driggs to heaven.  I am thankful for the years Pastor Driggs invested in teaching us God’s word in High School.  A few years later he would officiate at my wedding.  My thoughts and prayers are with the all of the Jessup family as they mourn this great loss.  I am confident Driggs was welcomed with the words, “Well, done, good and faithful servant,” by the Lord he so faithfully served.

Coach Driggs was an amazing man. I moved to Columbia high school my senior year and it was a difficult transition. Driggs would often check in on me in classes to make sure I was doing well. He was always sincere with his encouragement and wanting the best for others. He was a true mentor and support for so many students.  I am thankful for the investment he made in my life and others. Coach Driggs  will be missed but I know he is rejoicing with Jesus. Your family is in my prayers.

This is so hard! What a great loss we mourn with the Jessup family today! I remember many things about Driggs back in the late 80s when he was my Pastor and mentor in Cambridge Idaho. I remember he gave me one of my first jobs cutting the grass in his yard. He was gracious and generous and also a perfectionist wanting me to do it the right way! He also had this really cool van that I think he was pretty proud of and he asked me if he could pay me to wash it for him. Another job! And again he gave me many tips and encouragement to do it the right way. And I’ll never forget he let me drive it one time with two of my guy friends. we each asked a girl out to go on a triple date down to the big city of Ontario Oregon:) he entrusted me with his special van which made me feel pretty responsible and important! Thank you Driggs for building into my life and loving me like Jesus loved! I will always remember you and your family. Prayers for all of the Jessup family especially Patty, siblings, kids and grandkids what a great legacy has been left behind! Love from the Coats
Sending love and prayers to the Jessup family.  Every time walked through the weight room or saw Driggs at Columbia event, he would always take a minute to come over and say hi to me.  That always meant so much to me and you could tell how caring of a person he was.

“Even in darkness light shines for the upright…” Ps. 112:4

Though your journey in the “valley of the shadow of death” has been extended with Driggs death, the light of Christ shone in his life. Christ’s Light will always be beside you even in the darkness. Jessup family, your names are being lifted to the Throne of Grace from all over the world. Our dear Father is listening and hearing. 💗

Many, many moons ago I was fortunate enough to have the dream team of basketball coaches, Driggs being one of them.  His encouragement, support and his ability to bring a smile to my face in any circumstance was one of the many things I appreciated and admired about him.  Sometimes words weren't even needed.  He would see that I was struggling and would just come up, put his arm around me and give me a big squeeze and that always made things better.  My sincerest condolences to the Jessup family and to his Columbia High School family.  He will be greatly missed.
Sending my sincere sympathy to the Jessup Family. Driggs was such a wonderful man. He will be missed.

Driggs was my handsome, big brother. I have always been proud to be his little sister. I have many memories through the years. Getting rides to school in his car, watching him play sports just to name a couple.   A special memory is when he drove me to my high school graduation in his Cadillac! I liked it when he called me Jilly. The last phone conversation I had with him was to tell him that he  inherited a picture of the Driggs family home from  our Aunt Helen Kay. He was excited about that. We ended the conversation as we did each time we spoke or saw each other by saying I love you.  I love you Driggs, I am so thankful you are my big brother. I can’t believe you are gone, I miss you so much. Give Brody, Dad and Mom and all the others that have gone before a hug for me and I look forward to seeing you in eternity soon!! Your little sister Jill ❤️

I met Driggs way back in 1980 in Portland, and later became friends with he and Patty.  I was sad when they moved back to Idaho, but glad that we always stayed in touch with Christmas cards and photos.  Driggs (and Patty) made a lifetime impact on me with their friendship, kindness, caring, and Christian example.  They both gave deeply of themselves in a way that truly touched me and has always stayed with me, and my love for them has never wavered over these years.  I've never met anyone like Driggs!  I loved the passion he had for God, his family, and his country.  Good way too soon!  I am so sad to know I won't see him again in this life, but look forward to the future reunion in Heaven.  Patty and Corrie, Chelsey, Callie, Brock -- I am so sorry for the large hole in your hearts right now.  May God's love surround you, comfort you, and bring you peace as you hold your memories near.
Driggs was a business mentor back in the 90's and he definitely had an impact on me.  THE biggest lesson learned was to always make sure the measurement of success is the person on the inside and this always takes  priority over any earthly successes.  RIP preacher of lessons from a mutton buster...your message will live on!
Driggs was my high school basketball coach, a mentor & a friend. He was one of that most encouraging people I knew and he was always uplifting and believed in his girls team more than anyone. He loved the game and I have many memories of chatting while we watch games together and sharing stories. He was genuine and always made me feel seen and heard. He showed me that there was more to learn while playing basketball than just basketball. It was more about life. I admired his faith in The Lord and his constant support through the seasons of life. After graduating we still maintained a relationship and he got to know my husband and first 2 children. He was so kind and loving and had a passion for life that shined through him. We will miss you here but know you are with Jesus and smiling down from heaven. You are so loved ❤️
Patty and Family, Words can't express our feelings upon learning of Driggs passing. We know that you and the family take comfort knowing your loss is God's gain, although way too early. We are sure that if he could, he'd remind us that he is celebrating in the glory of God and for us to celebrate his life as a faithful example of a job well done.
What can I say....Driggs was a good man. Great father, friend, colleague, worker, and a proud member of his community at all levels. He touched the lives of so many people, including mine, in such a positive way. I have nothing but good memories of him. He will be greatly missed. With deepest sympathy. Carl B. Butler
I am so saddened by this loss. I will never forget the endless conversations with Driggs about the upcoming volleyball game and his strategies for us. He was one of a kind ❤️ My prayers are with the entire family who has also made such an impact in my life.
