Deanna's obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Deanna "Dee" Buntin, a woman of warmth, kindness, humor, and light-heartedness. Deanna, who also went by Dee, was born on November 4, 1943, and passed away on November 5, 2025. Fondly remembered as an anchor of gentle kindness, Deanna will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and community.

Deanna was a cherished wife to Paul Buntin, a loving mother to Catherine Kensinger, David Schneider, Roberta Kunard, and Shawn Buntin, and a doting grandmother to Sarah Furgerson, Mason Kunard, Jacob Schneider, Noah Schneider, Jonathan Kensinger, Brandon Schneider, Samuel Schneider, Haleigh Schneider, Kyle Garrison, Quentin Garrison, and Caylin Garrison. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel Schneider, whose memory she lovingly preserved.

Professionally, Deanna was an integral part of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3781. She served as an Event planner, organizing numerous raffles, managing the band, and contributing tirelessly to the life and vibrancy of the organization.

In her leisure time, Deanna was an avid reader, especially of mystery novels. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals, and found joy in games like Bingo, Slots at the casino, and 31. In her younger years, she loved spending time with friends at the lake fishing. The Eagles Club held a special place in her heart as a cherished local spot.

Most important to Deanna were her family and friends. She relished in gatherings, like BBQs, that brought them all together. Her love for them was always evident, and the strength of these bonds was a testament to her caring nature.

A woman of enduring grace and generosity, Deanna leaves behind a legacy of gentle kindness. We will remember her for her bright spirit, boundless generosity, and the joy she brought into every life she touched.
