Dr. Walter Joel Rubinstein, passed away peacefully of natural causes on July 1, 2018. He was 86 years old.
Son of David and Mazie Rabins and the younger brother of Dr. Richard Rubinstein, Walter was raised in Brooklyn NY. He attended Stuyvesant High School, where he excelled academically and was also captain of the fencing team. After graduating, he went on to study at Columbia University, where he was a starting fencer for Columbia’s NCAA …
