Douglas's obituary

Douglas Evans Wheeler, resident of Tomball, TX, passed away due to complications from COVID on Friday, November 12. Evans was 62, born on August 5, 1959 in El Paso, TX. He was a devoted father who shared his love of art and inspired a creative spirit in his family. He is survived by former wife Deborah Wheeler, daughter Sarah Logsdon and her husband Nathan, son Mathew Wheeler and his wife Meghan, and son Samuel Wheeler.

Evans began his career as a gifted potter and then was a pioneer in the design industry as a typesetter. He was a talented artist and Graphic Designer. Evans eventually started his own successful graphic design company Inreason Media in May 2000. He continued to grow this company until his recent retirement.

He was a friend and mentor to many and quick to give back to his community. Evans was a father who spent countless hours supporting his children in all of their passions and interests. He never failed to make a goofy joke regardless of the situation, enjoyed debating politics for hours, and was a patient and loving man with the reputation of giving the best hugs. He will be truly missed.
