On Wednesday, October 21st, 2020, Douglas Stanley, loving father, brother, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at the age of 77. Doug was born on August 22nd 1943 in Eskdale, West Virginia. He raised two sons, Chris and Timothy Stanley. Doug was a devoted member of his church and a man of strong faith. He made sure to keep in touch with family and friends and attended every one of his high school reunions. Doug was a proud volunteer firefighter in the City of Cypress, California and worked serving his community as an ambulance driver for many years.

Doug will be remembered for his fun loving personality, his never ending jokes and the ability to make all those around him smile. He loved to camp, hike and fish.

Doug is survived by his two sons, Chris and Timothy, his sister Eleanor, brother Leland and several cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A service will be held on November 7th at First Baptist Church of Cypress, 9131 Watson St, Cypress, CA at nine o’clock a.m.
