With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas C. Robb of Blairstown, NJ, born and raised in Paterson, NJ, who died at the age of 82 on August 17, 2024. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Melinda Cafiero Robb; his three children and their spouses, Laura-Ann Robb and her wife Michele Weber, Douglas Robb, Jr. and his wife Dara Bernarducci Robb; and Roseann Francavilla. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Taylor Robb Fiore and her husband Anthony Fiore; Douglas C. Robb III; Jaxon Robb; Peyton Robb; Sam Francavilla; Mia Robb; Adriana Robb; Lucy Francavilla; and Lily Francavilla.

Doug also leaves behind his beloved brother, Jack Robb, his son Jackie and his wife Michelle, and his grandson Jack; his devoted sister Bonnie Robb Savage and her partner Bob Petronzi; and his nephew Joseph Robb.

Doug joins his sister Marjorie who died in 2004; his mother Regina Dolores Eckert who died in 2013; and his father John Joseph Robb (Jack) who died in 1986. Special remembrance for Leonard Francavilla who is loved and missed tremendously.

Doug Robb also is remembered as a proud member of the Paterson Police Department from 1966 to 1994, and retired as a Sergeant in 1994, and then continued working for the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department as head of the ID Bureau. Doug moved to Warren County, NJ after his retirement.

May he forever rest in peace.
