Douglas's death was unexpected although he was on Hospice for lung/heart disease, he was still doing ok. Doug was in the Navy for 5 yrs with an honorable discharge ( USS Flasher submarine). There was $30,000 in medical bills (after insurance) during his illness that was almost paid up, so we are financially drained and need assistance. We were denied by State Assistance and denied personal loans. Contribute

Memorial events are private

Douglas requested a small funeral with family and closest friends. Since he was in a nursing home in Green Bay, Wi and his wishes were to be cremated with Military honors, we are trying to honor his wishes. The funeral expenses include travel time to Gillett (Doug's hometown) where the Memorial service will be held and his precedent family members are laid to rest.
