We will all miss him- he was a sweet quirky guy . I'm  thinking the first time we met was when he drove Peggy all the way to California to meet her new granddaughter when she was 6 weeks old.I was worried about them staying with us- I was a new mom and unsure of myself. He was easy to have around and never complained about all the crying. We drove up to the redwoods and he marveled  in their splendor- picking up rocks and wondering what type they were. Always looking to learn new things. He would drive Peggy down to the cities to visit whenever we were in town.He wrote us little letters over the years and would mail us funny things that he still had of Pegs and thought we would enjoy.  We had not heard from him in a while- maybe since Xmas so we knew he wasn't feeling great. I'm  sure he's up there- enjoying family- friends- and pets that he loved over the years. He will be missed- he was a very special soul
