i feel very blessed that I was able to visit Doug in his home just one week before he died. His body was weak but his mind was strong. He was a dear friend of mine since childhood. He was always doing for others, never asking what's in it for him. I have countless memories that I will cherish. Rest in peace my dear friend. I love you

I fist met Doug in the airport in China. We had a brief introduction before I had to help him put his hand on the scanner to verify his identity....anyone who knew Doug and his hand will know how funny this must of been.

Through out our time in Thailand for Leigh and Nick's wedding, Doug is the person I spent the most time with. I will never know someone who can make me laugh as hard as he could.

His love for his daughters(and family) was shown through his actions and words.

I am forever grateful for Doug. He created and raised two of my very best friends, who are literal rays of sunshine for this world.

Love and miss you always, Doug.
