Obituary
Douglas Eugene Goforth was born in 1944 to Catherine Louise Farnan and B.D. Goforth in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. He moved to Colorado Springs in the 1950's.
He attended Harrison High School where he received recognition on the all-conference basketball team. After graduating high school in 1963, he attended the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo on a basketball scholarship.
