Douglas W. Eldridge, 81 of Ewing, Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Claiborne Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1939 in Bonnie Blue, Virginia and was a son of the late Charlie and Harue Stigall Eldridge. Douglas was a member of the Assembly of God in Rose Hill, Va. and a lifelong member of Lee county

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Eldridge and Doris Brooks , two sons Darrell and Douglas II.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Betty Bledsoe Eldridge; sons Ronnie, Jeffery and Craig Eldridge ; daughters,Bertina Ball, Sheila Twigg and Barbra Baker, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, February 25 at 1:00 PM in the Ball Cemetery Ewing Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 25 starting at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God in Rose Hill Virginia.
