The Wedding PARTY! Dougie bui…
2016, Annie and Eric’s Wedding
The Wedding PARTY! Dougie built the wedding arbor for this beautiful day. I recently restored it and to celebrate his 40th birthday, assembled it this morning with a bench to sit and reflect. Thank you, Doug, for this wonderful gift that will always make me think of you. Happy birthday, brother.
Hi Doug, I miss you (and Garcia) all the time. I will never forget all the ways you illuminated my life in your silent, steady way. When the time comes, I look forward to a chess game and an ice-drive in the Taco. I love you, I always have. The rest I've already told you!
Thinking of the life lived and not lost as time passes.  Xx

Doug had a warm heart and great smile. He will be missed by many.  "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal."- irish blessing to Doug's loved ones.
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss.  Sincere condolences.
Sincere condolences to both family and friends. Doug was by far the most gifted finish carpenter I knew. Quiet, reserved, efficient, and dead on accurate. He was called a unicorn by some in the trades, and could work circles around you while you fumbled with your tape measure. I was shocked and dismayed to hear the news, and wish both he and the family lasting peace.
So sorry for the loss of our extended family. Things seem to be going ok but there is always something in life that makes us wonder.

If anyone would like to bring any photos they have of Doug to the memorial I would like to get together some nice ones to send to his mother and the rest of his family. Some of whom might be unable to attend the services.
