My sincerest condolences for your loss. Loosing a loved one is never easy. During such a difficult time it may be hard to find comfort but I would like to share with you a beautiful promise that God makes to mankind. Acts 24:15 tells us there is a beautiful hope which men can look forward to, it says “there is going to be a resurrection.” May this promise that will soon be fulfilled give you comfort and endurance till the day you can see Douglas again.
My sincerest condolences. I'm forever grateful to have known Doug for the brief time we worked together. He was incredibly talented, smart, and compassionate, and loved introducing me to restaurants I'd never tried. Prayers for you and the children...he loved and cherished you above all else.
So sorry about Doug. He was such a great guy. When our boys were younger he would help them with math. What an intelligent human being Wish you all our deepest sympathy. Sending hugs your way
To Lauren and the family: As an OPM employee, I worked indirectly with Doug and every encounter I had with Doug was either filled with laughter or learning. He gave me a fish chowder recipe. Surprisingly, it was delicious which is quite a feat for me. Altho we didn't keep in touch after he left OPM, he left a positive impression on me. The obituary was beautiful and painted an even clearer picture of the wonderful person he was. I pray that your heart will smile as you recall the good times and celebrate his life.
I am so very sorry. He fought long and hard and so did the rest of you. He is at peace now and he is watching over you all and loves you all so much and he knows how much you love him
OMG I'm so sorry to hear this! My Prayers to Doug's family and friends. Although we never met in person, I always enjoyed him and his humor on Facebook. I'll carry on the dad jokes for you sir! God Bless!!
