Douglas Feyler passed away this past Wednesday. Doug was a stranger to no one and found great joy in striking up conversation with everyone he met. Often called the unofficial “Mayor of Hyde park” there wasn’t a face he didn’t know. Doug was an adoring father who was proud of all three of his children and cherished the adventures he took with them. Doug lived life by his own rules and his endless antics will be missed by all who knew him.

Doug was preceeded in death by his father, Douglas Feyler; his sister, Celine Silva; and his brother, Paul Feyler.

He leaves behind his loving mother, Therese Feyler of Hyde Park; his twin girls and their husbands, Rachel & Chris Creasey of Omaha, Nebraska and Leigh & Nick Lydon-Feyler of Winter Park, Colorado; his son Christopher Sweeney of Attleboro; mother of his children; Sandra Sweeney; his beloved brother, Jamie Feyler and his favorite sister-in-law, Maggie Feyler of Attleboro. He also leaves behind his favorite nephew, Ryan Feyler, his fiancé Kaitlyn Robichaud and their children Hunter & Rylee of a Hyde Park along with his favorite niece, Kelsey Feyler of Dorchester. As well as his long term companion; Paula Moynihan.

A memorial will be held at 1531 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA on Monday March 27th at 4pm.
