Doug Brown was born in Arcata, California in 1943. He lived a full life in the beautiful little town of Edom, where he created what is now a thriving art community. Almost 50 years ago Doug opened Potters Brown. Not long after, he started the Edom Art Festival, a longstanding art show in East Texas. He was known for his witty humor, kind heart, creative flair, and colorful overalls. He left behind his beloved wife, …
