Life has a way of challenging us to rise towards our greatest potential. To be our greatest self. Even through his struggle with illness, Dotun had a gentle way of being a strong support and amazing soul to his family, to me and to all who reached out to him.
I am sad beyond words, and pray that his wife and son's- Traci, Ryan, Andrew- will heal with God's help, and surely we will always hold the Spirit of Dotun close to heart.

Dotun’s death is still very shocking to me. Our prayers throughout the time he was sick was to God to proof science wrong. The Lord in His mercy answered in His own way. Who are we to question Him
My mind kept on reflecting on the good times we had as family members when you were always brought to Nigeria on holidays. You were very peaceful and accommodating.
Though you were not a man of many words right from your early years, you were always focused on your plans and you achieved your goals silently.
We met last at my brother’s funeral (whom you have considered as a member of your family) and I never knew it would be our last meeting
I pray for comfort for your wife, children, siblings and everyone of us.
Our Lord Jesus will come back very soon and death itself will be defeated.
Till then may God keep in perfect peace all that you left behind

I met his sister a few years ago in Sacramento. I never met Dot. I pray that the Lord will console his wife and children and his mother and siblings.
