Dorothy's obituary

Dorothy Louise Trinkl passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022, after a 14-month battle with Cholangiocarcinoma. She was 75 years old.

Dorothy was born on December 4, 1946 in Wausau, Wisconsin. She graduated from Madison West High School and the University of Wisconsin-Stout, with degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology. She spent 30 years teaching, primarily as a kindergarten teacher in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dorothy met her husband, Frank Trinkl, at college and had two brilliant children, Richard Trinkl (wife Melissa) and Christine Smith (husband Mark).

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Frank John Trinkl, her parents, Dorothy and Edwin Hill, her in-laws John and Mary Trinkl, brother, Steve Hill, brother-in-laws, Byron Shaw and Richard Trinkl, and sister-in-law, Teri Trinkl.

Dorothy is survived by her siblings, Sarah Escobar (Luis) and Margaret Shaw, sister-in-laws, Elizabeth Trinkl (Terry), Mary Hill, and Linda Trinkl, and brother-in-law, Donald Trinkl. Dorothy is also survived by her amazing grandchildren, Hannah, Ricky, Jason, Kayla, Jack and Charlie Rose: plus several beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
