Mrs. Dorothy Smith, 89, of Alpharetta, GA, passed away on March 18, 2023.

Dorothy was born on February 13, 1934 to Florence Hillmiller and Leslie Giles in Buffalo, New York. She later graduated from Lafayette High School.  After graduation, she worked for Western Electric where she met her husband, Benjamin Smith. They got married in 1955 and had four children, Michael (Delores) Smith, David Smith (Michael Aschow), Lori (Paul) Harbrecht, and Richard (Tina) Smith.  Dorothy had four grandchildren, Kristin Harbrecht, Kimberly (David) Wilkerson, Benjamin, and Jerry Smith. She also had two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Caleb Wilkerson. 

Dorothy loved crafting, including sewing and knitting. She loved spending time with her family and her times near her brother, William (Mary) Giles, and their family in Florida. She lived in New York, Arizona, Georgia, and Florida. She had many happy memories with friends and family.
