It’s been a whole year. My how time flies. I miss us talking about projects you are creating and what I want you to create for me. I still have all our projects saved. My boards at school have not been the same and I keep recycling my favorite boards we created. You were truly a great friend, irreplaceable. We spent sooo many years and projects together and I am truly thankful for that DP.💜🥲

My deepest and sincere condolences to my favorite cousin DeCarlos, the Moore Family and to Dot's husband. I must say that I was a handful, I gave you hell Dot and I got on your last nerve. I couldn't stand you for years but you stood your ground with me. And as I grew up and changed, I understood your assignment in my life and I thank you for being you inspite of. You were an amazing woman. Thank for encouraging and speaking life in me when I didn't have a clue. May you rest in eternal peace until we meet again.

I was utterly surprised when I heard the news of Dottie's passing. Dot would send me text messages quite often to remind me of our friendship and of course to taunt me about being a Redskins/Commanders fan. She would send mail magnets with Cowboys&Redskins for Bro Lester and I ( so as to keep the peace between us LOL). Dot would do some of the most Beautiful trinkets for our Hospitality and Love N Action Ministries which was always received with gratitude, praise and appreciation.  But most of All I’ll miss our talks, her smile&sense of humor and her warm hugs.🥰 Sending Our Deepest Condolences with Love Prayers and Encouragement from Lyné and Lester Gaines and Our Gaines Clan.

Praying for comfort & peaceful hearts for Terrence & the family during this difficult time. 🙏🏾

Dottie was my go-to, for all things creative, my co-pilot (to church) and always my friend. She'll be forever missed but her various cards and gifts I have, will always keep my heart smiling.

Dottie, get those angels up there crafty & creative and make the skies sparkle forever! Love you, Dot! ❤️🙏🏽
