Dorothy Ligman, better known to her friends and loved ones as Dottie, was born on July 22, 1929. Her soul was called to rest April 11, 2026, yet her legacy endures as a model of a life lived to the fullest. She was a woman of artistic talent, a great sense of humor, and a paradigm of generosity, kindness, and love. Memorial events are private
Dottie never wanted a "fuss" made over her and per her wishes no wake/funeral were planned. Dottie's memorial service was held and Altar was draped at her Eastern Star chapter. Dottie was cremated and her ashes scattered privately by her daughter and son-in-law.
