Dot was my hero. She often would come to pick me up and take me to her home for the weekend or days in the summer. I remember going to River View amusement park and ride all the rollercoasters and of course the Merry-go-round. In bad weather she would color in my coloring book with me and play paper dolls. I was junior bridesmaid at their wedding and was first down the long aisle of St Andrews church. I still have the musical doll Dot gave me for a gift. Dot was my Confirmation sponsor and I took St Dorothy as my patron saint. I regret not seeing more of each other but whenever we could get to California we’d talk the night away. Dot was such an amazing mother, her children are an example of her caring and loving ways. I will never forget her and hope we can meet in heaven to continue our special relationship.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Aunt Dot. I remember fondly all the family holidays we spent together and the laughter. Aunt Dot and Uncle Joe were always so fun to visit. All of us looked forward to those times together. My heart, love and prayers are with you all.
