It is hard to beleive it has been 5 years since she passed from COVID… since then her and Loren have been joined by Quinton Hapke and Elizabeth ‘Beth’ Hapke-Saladino (Betty and Quinton’s daughter). We keep their memories alive here on earth and continue to spread their names and journeys— keeping the community in Middletown, NY alive and well <3
I am  very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. I used to clean for her awhile back and during that time we became good friends. I even visited her in the hospital  and watched Rocky for her as well. She always  loved my wacky sense of humor and had some very nice conversations  together.  You will be forever missed Betty.  Heaven has a new angel now.

Betty was my aunt and a Crazy Aunt Betty at that. I was born 1 month after her son David so I spent a lot of time at their house as a young kid. She was always full of laughs! We got to reconnect years down the road and she was still full of laughs, sarcasm and eyes that screamed " what the hell is wrong with you kid". I am sad that she passed and I will always remember sitting for hours on the back patio in Pine Bush and her tolerating my ridiculousness. My condolences to her family.

She always was a stunner when she dressed up!
I first met Betty when she was a toddler with beautiful long banana curls. It was at my Grandma and Grandpa Kenyon's home when they came to RI to visit. Her brother, Dan and I are the same age and we must have been 11 or 12 at the time.
In response to "How did you first meet Betty?"
It has been several years since I last saw cousin Betty. Travel distance has kept us apart and it was with a real sense of loss that I heard of her untimely passing. We were able to keep in touch on Face Book. My condolences to all of her family.
Lovingly,
Phyllis

Betty had a look, a glint in her eye that I will ever forget. I remember well when Dave would say something out of turn or do something ridiculous she would look at me like "really? this is what I have to deal with?" She was always kind to me and I enjoyed her company each and every time we were together.
