Wife, mother, sister, and friend, Dorothea “Dolly” Dano (Pence) Laperle, was born on December 12, 1951, to Howard Graham Pence and Dorothe Grace Pence. On November 1, 2024, surrounded by her children and grandchildren, Dolly peacefully passed into heaven as they sang “Jesus Loves Me” and “Because He First Loved Me,” songs she once sang to comfort them at bedtime.
