Doris E. Slagle left this earth to be with her Savior on April 29, 2023. She had suffered a stroke which left her paralyzed on her left side in 2017. Complications from this caused her death. She enjoyed 97 years, most of them in Philadelphia, PA, where she was born. In high school, she was a revered basketball player, an equestrian, and part of a sought after a cappella group.
