It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Doris Lessard of Laval, QC on January 30, 2023 at the age of 76 years peacefully in her sleep.

Doris had a passion for Elvis, the color blue and cats; everyone knew and loved her classic pirogies and her loving spirit.

Doris is survived by her son Alain, as well as her grandson Jesse and granddaughter Caitlyn.

hi everyone,

i know this page has been a long time coming. i want to start by saying i’m sorry it took so long to create—grief has its own timing, and i needed a little space before i could hold this space for her, and for all of us.

thank you for being here. this memorial is for anyone who loved her, anyone she made smile, laugh, or feel safe. please feel free to share your favorite photos, stories, memories—anything that reminds you of her. this is a place for all of that, and all of us.

she meant the world to me. still does. and i’m really grateful you’re here to help keep her memory alive.
